Preschool Director: Meghan Allen

 Hi! I am Mrs. Meghan. I began working at BCBC preschool in September of 2022, but have been working in childcare since 2010. I have my level 2 certification and am currently working towards upgrading my certification through the Child and Youth degree program at MSVU part-time. I am very passionate about providing a variety of experiences for children, including stories and songs, art and messy play, the importance of outdoor play and exploration, and the importance of child-led play. 

Outside of work, I have three children of my own, aged 9, 5, and 2. In my very limited spare time, I love to bake, play board games, do puzzles, and read.

Preschool Teacher: Cara Plant

 Hello everyone. My name is Ms. Cara. I have been working at BCBC Preschool since Sept 2022, but I

have always worked with children, and love doing so. My first job was at St. Joseph's Children's Centre

when I was in high school, and I continued working there during breaks from university. 

After graduating with my teaching degree from Bishop's University, I began

to work with the Junior Primary class, various camps, and the after-school

program at Sacred Heart School of Halifax. I have remained there for the last

few years and still work there part-time.

When not working, I love to crochet, read and watch movies with my family and friends.

Watching HGTV is also something of a guilty pleasure.
